Last Friday night, Cairn celebrated Christmas with the annual Starry Night event. Student Life and Campus Services decorated the walkway with lights, arches, and, for the first time, a real Christmas tree. Student Life set up tables full of cookies and large pots of cocoa and cider as Christmas classics

The Gospel Choir’s first full concert was a night full of worship and the culmination of several people’s hard work. Ruth Naomi Floyd opened with a brief introduction, explaining the birth of gospel music. African slaves, in their deepest despair, lifted their songs and lifted their heads to God. The
