“A moment where the world is at peace”

The trees whisper to each other

The birds begin their daily routine

Each chirp, yearns for a ripple from the pond

Nature slowly starts to wake

But atlas the morning fog slowly rolls in

A kiss from the clouds, how lovely

Its as if God himself has come down

Simply to say hello like the gentle breeze

Or the mist upon the wet leaves

A reminder that He is good in all things

May that be the small scent of rain

Or the iridescent sun as it begins to raise

But peace in this world only lasts for so long

As I sit still in this place of beauty

I often ponder where did the world go wrong

Yet, it is a new reminder that Christ gives peace all the day long
